Segundo dia de Primavera Sound

Continuamos el post de ayer sobre el festival Primavera Sound 2010.

Segundo dia:

- Las primeras horas de esta segunda jornada también fueron llenas de adrenalina gracias a la programación del escenario organizado por ATP. En este escenario vi a Beak>, Les Savy Fav y Shellac de los cuales quiero destacar a los primeros, de los que me sorprendió su sonido entre garage y noise rock. El batería es Geoff Barrow uno de los miembros de Portishead.



- A la noche pudimos ver a Wilco, Pixies y Cocorosie. Como de Wilco y Pixies ya se hablado mucho hablare de los últimos. Lo que más me llamo la atención fue su composición. Además utilizaban muchos instrumentos clásicos como un piano de cola y una lira pero con toques modernos y experimentales como la utilización de un beatboxer o juguetes usados como instrumento. Todo esto unido a las dos voces de las cantantes que dan forma al grupo, una de ellas con un estilo muy lirico y la otra con una voz muy especial.



Los otros grupos que vimos fueron The New Pornographers y The Bloody Betroots Death Crew 77, que cerraron la noche con un ruido muy especial.

Y algunos grupos que me perdí, pero que me hubiese gustado ver: Scout Niblett, Black Math Horseman y Japandroids.

We continue with the Primavera Sound 2010 Festival.

Second day:

- The first hours were also full of adrenaline thanks to the line-up of the stage organized by ATP. In this stage I saw Beak>, Les Savy Fav and Shellac of which I'd like to stand out the first ones. I was surprised by his sound, a blend of garage and noise rock. The drummer is Geoff Barrow one of the members of Portishead.

- Playing at night I could see Wilco, Pixies and Cocorosie. Since it's been said a lot about the Wilco and Pixies performances I'll talk about the latter above mentioned. I got impressed by their composition. They also used many classic instruments such as a grand piano and a lira but applying a modern and experimental touch such as a beatboxer or toys used as instruments. Altogether with the two singers' voices, one of them with a very lyric style and the other with a very special voice.

The other 2 bands that I saw that day were The New Pornographers and The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 which closed the night with a very special noise.

Some groups that I lost and I had liked to watch: Scout Niblett, Black Math Horseman and Japandroids.
