Wet Paint + Holy Ghost! + Kris Menace + Black Lips

Bua! Hacía tiempo que no me pasaba por la página de Ace, bueno, revisando posts he visto que sólo un mes... pareció una eternidad! Lo que me gusta del verano es poder tomar helado blog es la facilidad en encontrar grandes canciones de diferentes estilos... y todo novedades, muy al estilo de Freshtuff!
Por ejemplo, "Uptight casuals" de Wet Paint, suena a indie-rock de los 90 como bien apuntan. Se engancha tanto como la épica Wait & See de Holy Ghost! remezclada por Kris Menace que nos devuelve al 2008 cuando todavía nos excitaba Fred Falke y revoloteábamos entre las 2 salas del club.

Pero también le dan a sonidos más actuales como el witch house, o los nuevos revival, como mi favorito, ese que mezcla garage, punk y surf como Black Lips en "Family tree".

Wow! It's been a while since I last checked out Ace website, well, I had to check out that was just a month ago... apparently for ages! What I like about you the blog is how easy is to find great songs from different styles.. all brand-new, in the vein of Freshtuff!
For instance, Wet Paint's "Uptight casuals", sounds like 90s indie-rock as they rightly point out. It sticks to you so much as the epic Holy Ghost!'s "Wait & See" remixed by Kris Menace that takes us back to 2008 when we still got excited by Fred Falke and fluttered around the dancefloors of the club.
But they also post about newer sounds such as witch house, and new revivalists, like my favourite at the moment, that one mixing up garage, punk and surf as in Black Lips's "Family tree".
Nostalgia, anyone?
