Ya desde la primera escucha del disco de The Vaccines, "If You Wanna" y "Norgaard" eran mis preferidas con diferencia y veía la segunda como el "What you know" de este 2011. Por eso de que siendo el temazo del disco de uno de los hypes de año, no hubiera salido como single a las primeras de cambio y porque quizá esto suene demasiado familiar.
Así que esperé paciente... ¡No podía creer como la banda elegía sacar en mayo "All in White" teniendo un petardazo entre sus manos como éste para el verano! De igual manera que Two Door Cinema Club hiciera con "Come Back Home" el año pasado, son canciones destinadas bajo mi punto de vista para septiembre-octubre.
Cuando ya parecía que la canción quedaría en el olvido como otro tema más - hasta esta semana habían sacado la friolera de ¡5 singles! de temas pertenecientes al disco - voilà! Dicen que rectificar es de sabios... Ah! y como no podía ser de otra manera, con Amanda Norgaard en el vídeo.
"If You Wanna" and "Norgaard" became my favourites by far from the first listen of the album of The Vaccines. I even saw the second as 2011's "What you know", because being the tune of the album of one the hypes of the year it hadn't been released at the very beginning and.. maybe because this sounds too familiar.
So I waited patiently... I just couldn't believe how the band decided to release "All in White" as a single having a tunage like this for the summer!! Just as Two Door Cinema Club did it last year with "Come Back Home", in my opinion they are songs for fall.
When it seemed the song would remain half-forgotten, just as a secondary song on the album - up to no more, no less than 5 singles! had released before this week - voilà! And of course, Amanda Norgaard is on the video.
