In-Edit 2010 + Indiespot Anniversary

Always, anytime 24/7

Yesterday we partied like rock stars at the anniversary party of our friends from Indiespot. Great stuff guys! Fresh stuff (Funeral Party, Surfer Blood, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro...) and also many classics we enjoyed with our characteristic teen spirit and a nice tambourine. I'm just sorry for not posting about the party before but plans changed and didn't come back home until this early morning...

Part of the blame falls again on In-edit Festival. This time was "Upside Down - The Story of Creation Records", the documentary about the record label that gave us The Jesus & Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Teenage Fanclub, Oasis or the Super Furry Animals...

So if you liked "24 hour party people", this one is a great follower. Most of the characters of Creation Records are there, talking and spitting about all that surrended the label: relationships, gigs, influences, drugs and the acid house discovery, madness, did I say drugs? All together with funny statements (Gruff Rhys for president) and excelent music on a brilliant retrospective of brit-Indie and alternative scene on the 80s-90s.

Now I'm putting on my acid t-shirt for the first time for "High on hope". And that will be goodbye for this year! By the way, I can't wait to know anything about this year's "Club to Club" Simo and Elena!
